what kind of a leash is that and how does it work?
That's a Halti head collar (I presume that's what you meant, we just use a regular 6' nylon lead with it. The head collar help discourage your dog from pulling and gives the handler more control without harming the dog or putting pressure on their necks, I know you have a sled dog so you might want to look into one of these if you have a pulling problem. Our trainer back in LA had several Huskies and she recommends a head collar or anti-pull harness (the type that attach in the front) for dogs that pull. They aren't a substitute for leash training but they're a great tool! Google "halti" "gentle leader" and "anti-pull harness" and you should be able to find lots of info about these.
awesome! hudson pulls like no other- and he's HUGE! so one of these might be helpful
Where the head goes, the dog will surely follow. The halti has been great in training Dexter!
i used a halti on kody once. i didn't like it. now, believe it or not, i use a prong collar. it looks painful but he rarely pulls...anwyay, my point was those are gorgeous pictures!
