So, after four beautiful months of blessed unemployment and free loading off the government, it's back to work. Many of you already know that
APLA, or AIDS Project Los Angeles, did call me back and hired me. Yay! I'm finishing week three today and so far, so good. For those of you interested, my official title is "Development Associate, Donor Relations". In other words, I work in the fundraising department and do lots of little jobs, admin, correspondence, accounting, yadda yadda... Anyway, this place is cool and everyone is super friendly and I will soon be attending fundraisers where I can rub elbows with celebrities :)
Also, my new job is in
Koreatown, which means I have to drive to work. So I bought my first car...ever! I am now the proud owner of a black '03 Nissan Altima 2.5S with just under 18,000 miles on it (well, actually the bank owns most of it). It rocks! I will get some pictures of it up here eventually.
In other news, we are still couchless! Jason and I have opposite work schedules now, making furniture shopping nearly impossible. Our apartment is so ghetto fabulous right now, we really need to get some damn furniture.
